Born in Brig/Switzerland.


Wild childhood in the mountains.


Trained to be an actor at Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg/Germany and Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City.


Realized she was terrible at acting, gave it up to direct, beginning as assistant director under Marek Gierszal. She has also worked as an acting coach, preparing actors for auditions and roles.


Wrote poetry in German (as Sabine Imhof) that appeared in various literary magazines and anthologies (Der Deutsche Lyrikkalender, DOOM, Federwelt, Lichtungen, Macondo, Lima, Literatur de Suisse, Lyrik von Jetzt, Ostragehege, Palaver, Podium, Poetmag, Sprachgebunden, Sterz etc.), won some prizes, published two poetry collections (“Sonntags” and “Das Alibi der Abwesenheit”) at Yedermann Verlag, Munich.


Long hiatus due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and related illnesses.


Currently working on several screenplays.


As a screenwriter, her accolades include placements at Phoenix Film Festival, BlueCat, Table Read My Screenplay, Zurich Film Festival, ScreenCraft, Stowe Fellowship and Austin Film Festival.


Swimmer, pool player, animal friend, nature lover, obsessed with Old Hollywood.


She lives out of a suitcase between Los Angeles and the Swiss mountains.
